About

Born and raised in Mattapan section of Boston, Saint Angela Parish was a huge part of my growing up. 

My parents were involved in the life of the parish and taught us to be part of a loving community.

I am an identical twin with my sister Joan. And my brother is Fr. Francis O’Brien.

I earned my RN, BSN and PMH-BC (psychiatric mental health, Board Certified).

I have worked for over 25 years as a nurse in a variety of nursing experiences. 

I have worked at Quincy City Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and presently I work at Boston Children’s Hospital, in the Psychiatric ward.

This Spring, I completed the Archdiocese of Boston Parish Nurse Program.

I am married to my husband John, who is also a psychiatric nurse.

I always want to give back to a parish community and I believe healing can be achieved in the comfort of the home with a family.
