Your Offertory donation is the main source of income for our parish, which help us cover all budgeted operating expenses. To assist you with your generous and consisting giving during the year, we have two electronic giving options for your consideration. Both systems can be used to make your Offertory donation, special collections, flower donation, Holy Day donations and others.


Our parish has been using an Online Giving system that is strengthening stewardship as well as making it easier for members to support our parish. We currently have 164 families signed up through various Online Giving sources. They include WeShare, Charitable Giving Funds and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) through your bank.



There are many benefits for the parish and for parishioners that choose to give online. Some of the benefits for the parishioner include: no need to write checks; you can give even if you are unable to attend services; and your contribution amount can easily be adjusted.


The benefits for the parish include: more consistent giving with recurring contributions; electronic donation summaries for record keeping; reaches a wider demographic of givers; and accommodates all special parish collections and missions.

WeShare

With WeShare, it’s simple to make online donations to your parish using a credit card or debit card. WeShare is the largest, most experienced electronic-giving provider—serving more than 1,000 parishes across the country.

WeShare Giving Instructions

  1. Login to WeShare
  2. Enter your contact information
  3. Select the giving intention of your choice
  4. Write the amount and frequency of your giving
  5. Select the payment type
  6. Save your profile

Electronic Fund Transfer

 

  1. Login to your online banking service
              - Go to our Online Giving website and select a fund to donate a gift to by clicking "         Give Now ."
              - Enter your gift amount, select your gift type and frequency, select a start date, and click continue.
  2. Go to "Pay Bills" or similar function and add/enter the following information
               Payee name: Good Shepherd Parish
  3. You are now all set up to give!
              - You can now sign in through this page to access your account to see upcoming and past gifts.

  2. Go to "Pay Bills" or similar function and add/enter the following information

               Phone: 508-650-3545
               Account: Good Shepherd Parish
  3. Go to "Set up Reoccurring Bill Payment" or similar function and enter/select on a giving frequency that fits your budget
               Amount: (amount)
               Payment date: MM/DD/YY (will occur the same day each time)
               Frequency: monthly (or any other frequency choice)
               No. of payments: 12 (or more if you choose other frequency choice)
               Memo: Offertory (or other special collection)
  4. Your bank will automatically mail your Offertory check. There is no charge for this bank service
