Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council is an advisory body of parishioners who assist the pastor in his role as shepherd of the People of God. It attempts to place at the heart of the parish a consciousness and zeal for the mission of Jesus Christ. The primary responsibility of the Council is pastoral planning. This process envisions, addresses and evaluates the needs and goals of the parish community in light of church teaching and the mission of the local and larger church
Parish Finance Council
The Parish Finance Council consists principally of members who have professional financial experience. The Council meets quarterly to review the parish's financial performance and to provide consultative assistance to the pastor on major expenditures. The Council prepares the budget for the coming year and reports to the parish annually. The Council strives to keep the parish fiscally sound and capable of providing quality programs, facilities, and staff.
Family Religious Education Committee
The Family Religious Education Committee serves to provide direction and support to all components of the faith formation of parish children in grades K-8. Committee members consult with the coordinators of religious education on program development and implementation. Members serve in leadership roles in extracurricular activities such as Family Service Sundays and community events.
Hospitality Committee
Parish Life is a committee of parishioners who acknowledge that hospitality is a Christian duty. They are dedicated to building community through providing:
- Social activities, groups, and events
- Hospitality to visitors and new members
- Support to other ministries in hosting events
The committee strives to follow Christ in welcoming and caring for others. Help from anyone set-up, decoration, cooking, baking, serving or clean-up for an event are welcome anytime!
